Sunflower Meal

High-protein byproduct from sunflower oil extraction, containing 32-36% crude protein depending on processing method. Characterized by excellent amino acid profile with particularly high methionine content (superior to soybean meal). Contains residual oil (1-3%) providing additional energy and essential fatty acids. The fiber fraction includes beneficial pectins that support gut health. Naturally low in anti-nutritional factors compared to other oilseed meals. Rich in vitamin E (tocopherols) and selenium from the original sunflower seeds. Our meal is produced using low-temperature processing to preserve protein quality. An excellent partial replacement for soybean meal in poultry and swine diets, especially valuable in organic production systems.
